Keith Scott, Assistant Principal

Hello Douglas Family,

My Family - I am Married to Vicky Scott who serves our school community as the Principal at Douglas Elementary. I have 5 children and 8 Grandchildren. My grandparents received their education here at Douglas, as did my parents, children and grandchildren. 

My Education - I graduated from Douglas High School in 1983 (Go Eagles). I obtained my Bachelor's Degree from Jacksonville State in 2004 (Go Gamecocks). I earned my Master’s Degree at the University of Alabama in 2010 (Roll Tide). I completed my college education with my Educational Specialist Degree from the University of West Alabama in 2018 (Go Tigers).

My Thoughts - I love this school and community and the individuals that call them home. I plan to continue to serve here at Douglas and do so with pride. I can assure each of you that I will make the best decisions possible - based on the information I have available at the time - for the good of our students, faculty, staff, and overall good of our community.
